History of the Royal Cerdanya Golf Club
Founded in 1929, it was one of those mythical years in the contemporary history of Catalonia. Year of the Universal Exhibition, of a great qualitative leap in many levels and situations of our society. And it was also the year of the birth of one of the most traditional clubs in Catalonia: the Real Club de Golf de Cerdanya, the first in the province of Gerona.
Currently, it is the 3rd oldest Club in Catalonia and one of the 10 oldest in Spain.
Its creator, Javier Arana, knew how to take advantage of the natural unevenness of the terrain to configure the difficulties of a course that is very well integrated into its surroundings.
Its layout offers a course of spectacular beauty, varied enough to never be boring, which will allow you to discover very clean greens and fairways amid hundred-year-old trees, you will feel comfortable with the precision of play required to avoid trees and bunkers.
